Updated May 30, 2026

Any traveler has had at least one moment when they’re waiting at the baggage claim, only to be hit with the fear that their luggage might not arrive.

It’s not entirely unwarranted, as it’s all too common for luggage to get delayed in transit, damaged, or, worse, completely lost or stolen. But that’s where luggage trackers can be a huge help.

Luggage trackers let you keep an eye on your belongings at all times and in any place, making sure you never have to guess about their whereabouts. With our favorite options as low as $14, it's a travel accessory that's worth the investment.

So many people have an iPhone or other Apple device these days, which makes the Apple AirTag especially useful.

The Apple AirTag taps into the vast Find My network with a Bluetooth signal, securely locating the tag using the millions of Apple devices out there. With an Apple AirTag, you can play a sound to track a lost item or you can use the precision find feature for directions to the tracker's location.

The battery can last for over a year with regular use, and it's easily replaceable when needed. However, it’s only compatible with iOS devices.

These are the luggage trackers I use every time I travel, and they haven’t failed me yet. I love how small and versatile they are, and I use them beyond traveling, too. (For instance, I keep one attached to my keys.)

The Apple AirTag starts at just $29 for one, and you can get a pack of four for under $100.

2. A Luggage Tracker for Samsung Users

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a luggage tracker that works with Samsung phones and tablets.

Similar to an Apple AirTag, it uses Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband technology to locate the tag using other Samsung Galaxy devices.

You can manage the tag through the SmartThings Find app, whether to get instructions to the tag’s location or set off a sound to track it by ear.

This luggage tracker is IP67-rated, so it’s water-resistant and dust-resistant, and the battery can last for over 500 days without having to be replaced. One Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is $21, while a four-pack will cost you $63.

If you don’t want to be tied down by phone type, the Life360 Tile Pro is a Bluetooth luggage tracker that works with both iOS and Android devices.

With a long Bluetooth range of up to 500 feet, you can easily track the tag using the Life360 app. It has a loud ring to find the tag itself, too, but this tracker can also help you locate your phone. When you double-press the tracker, your phone will ring even if it’s on silent, as long as it's within range.

It has a convenient loop that makes it easy to attach to a bag, it’s dust- and water-resistant, and the battery can last for a year before needing to be replaced. One Life360 Tile Pro is $35, a two-pack is up to $60, and a pack of four is $100.

4. A Budget-Friendly Luggage Tracker

Have an Apple device and want to dip your toes into the luggage tracking pool with a more affordable option? The eufy SmartTrack Link is a budget-friendly Bluetooth luggage tracker that uses Apple’s Find My network to keep track of your bags.

Its loud ring makes it easy to find by ear, and the double-press feature with the eufy Security app can make your phone ring if you lose it. If you happen to lose your bag, it also has a QR code that provides your contact information.

The battery can last for a year with regular use, and a single tracker only costs $14, while a two-pack and four-pack are only $19 and $40, respectively.

5. An Eco-Friendly Luggage Tracker

The Roam Smart Tracker was built to be an all-in-one tracking solution, no need for a case or a clip and no subscription or special app required. The design includes an elastic strap and is sturdy enough to attach just about anywhere without stressing that it'll break. The waterproof, dirt-proof, and sand-proof gadget uses a standard CR2032 battery, which lasts over a year and is replaceable when it does die. It's also made from recycled materials, so if you're working on cutting back on plastic waste, Roam is a natural choice.

The device-agnostic tracker works with Apple's Find My app and Google's Find Hub. And if you're prone to losing small objects, no worries: each one comes with a unique QR code. The moment it's scanned, the Lost & Found feature will activate and email you a precise location pin.

Single trackers run $30 and multipacks offer significant savings.
