Cheryl Rodewig is an award-winning journalist and editor currently based in Raleigh, NC. She’s managed global content teams and written travel guides for destinations across Europe and North America, but her specialty is uncovering whimsy in unexpected places around the Southeast: a lavender farm in the Shenandoah Valley, a Florida castle built for a lost love, a North Georgia garden blooming with 20 million daffodils. When she’s not planning her next trip, she’s putting her MBA to use crafting stories for brands. Over the past 15 years, her words have appeared in AARP, USA Today, Thrillist, The Guardian, Fodor’s, The London Standard, Southern Living, and more.
